Cbank says Moscow Exchange not to open stock trading on Fri
MOSCOW, Mar 4 (PRIME) -- Russia’s central bank has decided not to open the stock market on the Moscow Exchange on Friday, the regulator said in a statement.
“The bank has decided not to resume trading on March 4, 2022 on the Moscow Exchange in the stock market section,” the statement read.
Redemption via addressed orders mode with settlement in rubles, the derivatives market section, except for currency pairs, commodities (precious metals) and mirror futures contracts on the original platforms in closing positions mode, as well as the standardized derivatives market (SPFI) section, will be open during the trading session on Thursday.
The exchange’s operating mode on Saturday will be announced on the regulator’s website until 9.00 a.m. Moscow time the same day.
